The GJ Johnson Group is a privately held Australian group of companies founded by Gary Johnson in 1980. Over the last 40 years, we have grown from a small electrical contracting business into a group of multi-award-winning and world-leading companies.

About Gary Johnson

With a reputation for getting the job done, no matter the hurdles, Gary strives for diversification and commitment. He began his career when he established GJ Johnson and Co., an electrical contracting business in Fitzroy Crossing.

In 1998, he formed a joint venture with Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation to create Kimberley Regional Service Providers. He continues to play a strong role in supporting the Fitzroy Crossing Community and the Kimberley Region.

Gary was one of the first key players in the alcohol breath testing market in Australia. His view is that everyone has “the right not to offend”, and he has grown Alcolizer to be the largest supplier to Law Enforcement in Australia and is becoming a world leader in alcohol and other drug testing.
